Gina Friedrich (she/her) has a passion for poetry that is evident in her compositions, as she writes most of the texts for her music herself. Likely due to her background in science, nature is featured frequently in her works.

Gina is a recent graduate from Concordia University of Edmonton with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Music, where she studied composition (online) with Matthew Emery. She fell in love with choral music after joining the Concordia Concert Choir in her first year of university and has remained an avid participant for the past six years. She also works as the administrative assistant/librarian for Choir Alberta, as a choral scholar at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, and sings with Ariose Choir.
